If you use a quenching process in your rebar mill, it makes it possible, to use magnetic aprons, for increasing the brakepower.

Then you can increase the speed of the mill using the same brakedistance as you have today.

On the left, you can see a picture from a mill, working whith our magnetic aprons.You can easily see, the position of the magnetic aprons, the high friction creates flashes.

At the picture we are rolling 4x10mm rebar at 15m/s,

the maximum speed whithout magnetic aprons was 12,5m/s.

The maximum speed in this mill whith 6 aprons is about 18m/s.
